This full gut renovation of a Hoboken apartment reimagines a dated interior as a light-filled, contemporary retreat. The design focused on elevating everyday living through thoughtful spatial planning, refined materials, and a cohesive, modern aesthetic.

At the heart of the home, a reconfigured chef’s kitchen anchors the open plan. Painted in a soft, faded blue, the custom cabinetry is paired with clean-lined quartz countertops and a full-slab backsplash, creating a seamless visual statement. Ample lighting and tailored storage solutions ensure the space is as functional as it is inviting.

The bathrooms were conceived as private sanctuaries within the urban setting. A skylit primary bath centers around a freestanding soaking tub and a generous walk-in shower, while calacatta marble surfaces and warm wood flooring introduce contrast and texture. In the powder room, patterned tile and brass fixtures add depth and personality, transforming a compact footprint into a richly detailed experience. Throughout the residence, natural light plays a defining role—filtering through new skylights and carefully positioned openings to enhance the sense of openness.

The result is a Hoboken renovation that balances clarity and comfort, pairing modern restraint with moments of warmth and character.
